The title race reached its conclusion following Ongos’ convincing 3-0 victory over Julinho Athletics, a result that confirmed their championship status in emphatic fashion.
Meanwhile, title contenders Mighty Gunners saw their hopes slip away after being held to a goalless 0-0 draw by Windhoek City. The result proved costly, as it opened the door for Ongos to secure the league crown.
Speaking after the match, a visibly emotional Mighty Gunners head coach, Salome Iyambo, expressed her disappointment at missing out on the title. Despite the setback, she acknowledged the effort her team put in over the course of the campaign.
