Police force in Ndama location recover stolen household items

Police force in Ndama location recover the stolen items including sofas, clothes, a double bed, television, chairs, gas equipment and several other household belongings during an early-morning operation carried out by officers in Rundu.
Members of the Namibian Police Force stationed at Ndama Police Station conducted the operation following ongoing investigations into housebreaking cases reported in the Ndama location. The action led to the arrest of one suspect while two other suspects managed to flee the scene.
Kavango East regional crime investigations coordinator, Bonifatius Kanyetu, confirmed that the operation was launched after police received information linking the suspects to several theft incidents in the area.
Ndama Police Station commander, Veiko Sikeso, said the suspect was arrested at around 04:00 in the morning, and a search at the suspect’s residence led to the recovery of various household items believed to have been stolen from different victims.
Police have urged community members to continue cooperating with law enforcement by reporting suspicious activities, saying public support remains important in the fight against crime in the Ndama location and surrounding areas.
