Bail Denied for 18-Year-Old Accused in Murders of Two Young Girls

Karinambande Muundjua, 18, who is facing seven charges linked to the deaths of Ingrid Maasdorp, 5, and Roswinds Fabianu, 6, has been denied bail.
The State opposed his release, arguing that he could allegedly commit similar offences if released and that granting bail would not be in the public interest.
During the court proceedings, Muundjua reportedly expressed remorse, telling the court: “I’m sorry for the things I have done.”
The charges against him include rape, murder and kidnapping, as well as an additional count of obstructing or defeating the course of justice.
