28-Year-Old Man in Custody for Allegedly Assaulting His Brother in Rundu

A serious incident at Ndama location in Rundu has left a man hospitalized, with police investigating a case of attempted murder.

According to Namibian Police reports, the 28-year-old suspect allegedly struck his brother on the head with a metal iron following a heated argument around 23:11 on Thursday.

The victim sustained serious head injuries and was first treated at Rundu State Hospital before being transferred to Windhoek for specialised care.

The suspect is in police custody, and investigations into the incident are ongoing.
