Cattle Herder Saves Twin Babies From a water Pond in Omusati Region

A teenage cattle herder saved nine-month-old twin babies from a water pond in Omusati Region on Saturday.

Police say the babies were allegedly put in the pond by a 24-year-old woman from Omutundungu village in Etayi Constituency.

The herder was grazing cattle nearby when he saw what was happening. He quickly ran to the pond and pulled the babies out of the water.

The woman has been arrested and is facing a charge of attempted murder under the Domestic Violence Act.
