15-Year-Old Arrested After Alleged Fatal Stabbing of 19-Year-Old in Oshikoto

A 19-year-old man lost his life in the early hours of Saturday after he was allegedly stabbed during an incident at Omapeleki location in Oluhwa village, in the Okaku area of the Oshikoto Region.

According to police, the incident occurred at around 01:15. The victim, identified as Abrosius Tangeni Nghifikepunye, sustained a fatal stab wound after he was allegedly attacked with an okapi knife.

A 15-year-old boy has been arrested in connection with the incident and is currently being held in police custody as investigations continue.

Police have not yet established the motive behind the stabbing. The deceased’s next of kin have been notified of his death.
