Zimbabwe Champions Scottland FC Close In on Namibian Winger Stoffel Witbeen

Zimbabwean champions Scottland FC are reportedly close to completing the signing of Namibian winger Stoffel Witbeen from Okahandja United, with the 24-year-old expected to join the club on a two-year contract.
The Harare-based side is said to have won the race for Witbeen’s signature after beating Angolan club Grupo Desportivo Interclube, with the transfer fee reportedly valued at around US$60 000. The deal is now awaiting final paperwork before it can be officially confirmed.
Witbeen has built his career through several clubs in the region. He started out with Namibia’s Desert Rollers before moving to Botswana, where he featured for Matebele FC during the 2024/25 season. He later returned to Namibia to join Okahandja United, where he continued his development and earned national team recognition.

The left winger has also represented Namibia at international level, making appearances for the Brave Warriors.
A move to Scottland FC would mark another major step in Witbeen’s career as the Zimbabwean champions look to strengthen their squad ahead of future domestic and continental challenges.
