Barcelona Edge Al Ahly 2–1 in Historic Gamper Trophy Clash

Barcelona defeated Egyptian giants Al Ahly 2–1 in the Joan Gamper Trophy on Wednesday night at Camp Nou.

Hamza Abdelkarim put Barcelona ahead before Raphinha doubled the lead from the penalty spot. Al Ahly responded through Zizo early in the second half, but the Catalan side held on for victory.

The match was historic, with Al Ahly becoming the first African club to feature in the Joan Gamper Trophy.
