Barcelona Agree to Sign Rodri from Manchester City

Barcelona have reportedly reached an agreement to sign Manchester City midfielder Rodri in a deal worth around €70 million, including bonuses.

The Spain international was notably absent from Manchester City’s squad for Sunday’s Community Shield clash against Arsenal, amid growing speculation over his move to Barcelona.

Without Rodri, City suffered a heavy 3-0 defeat to Arsenal, with goals from Riccardo Calafiori, Kai Havertz and Martin Ødegaard.

If completed, the transfer would see the 30-year-old return to Spanish football after seven years at Manchester City.
