Woman Dies in Hit-and-Run Crash Near Rundu
A 47-year-old Namibian woman died after she was allegedly knocked down by a vehicle at Katondo Village in the Kavango East Region on Friday evening.
The deceased, identified as Gabriel Regina Mbava, was reportedly struck at about 19h30 and died at the scene.
According to the police, the vehicle involved was a Toyota Passo, which allegedly drove away after hitting the woman.
Police have not yet arrested any suspect in connection with the incident.

Mbava’s next of kin have been informed, while investigations into the hit-and-run remain ongoing.
