Mshasho Production Empire CEO and renowned musician, Martin Morocky, popularly known as King Tee Dee, revealed that he has returned to university more than two decades after dropping out. The 42-year-old Namibian icon, whose music career has earned him continental recognition, stated that he is determined to enhance his business skills, particularly in the area of management.

The artist took to his social media platforms earlier this week to share the news with his millions of fans and followers. In a heartfelt post, King Tee Dee wrote:

“I am back to university 22 years after dropping out. I wonder if I will cope as I have so much on my plate to do, but I have to do it for me and learn a few things in the field of Business Management.”

King Tee Dee, who initially enrolled at university in the early 2000s, left his academic pursuits to focus fully on his passion for music. That bold decision not only paid off but also laid the foundation for one of Namibia’s most influential entertainment empires, Mshasho. Over the years, the label has nurtured local talent, dominated music charts, and expanded into clothing and merchandise, further establishing its presence in both business and pop culture.

However, despite his undeniable success, the award-winning artist has made it clear that he believes education remains a powerful tool especially in the fast-evolving world of business.

Fans have flooded the comments section of his post with words of encouragement, calling his decision courageous, admirable, and proof that it’s never too late to pursue education. Many say King Tee Dee’s move will inspire not only youth but also other successful individuals who may have put education aside to chase their dreams.

At a time when the entertainment industry is becoming increasingly competitive and business-driven, the artist’s decision reflects a growing awareness among creatives to equip themselves with the necessary tools to navigate the complexities of modern entrepreneurship.

King Tee Dee’s journey back to the classroom is a strong statement about personal growth, humility, and the importance of lifelong learning regardless of age or past accomplishments.

As he embarks on this new chapter, many will be watching to see how his academic journey shapes the next phase of his career and business legacy.
