Arrest Made in Horrific Omusati Rape Case

A 22-year-old man has been apprehended and charged in connection with the alleged rape of his two young cousins, aged 9 and 10, in Otsinka village, Onesi Constituency.

The Omusati Regional Police are actively investigating this disturbing case.

According to Commissioner Ismael Basson, the Omusati Regional Police Commander, the suspect reportedly entered the bedroom of the minor victims, undressed them, and sexually assaulted both children.

While the incident involves domestic violence, alcohol is not believed to have been a factor in this heinous crime.

The suspect has already appeared before the Outapi Magistrate’s Court, where he was formally charged. The police investigation is ongoing.
