Four Namibian men have been arrested in connection with a case of stock theft that occurred at Mbore village in the Kapako Constituency, Kavango West Region.
According to Kavango West Chief Inspector Raimbert Muronga, the suspects were taken into custody around midday on Tuesday after they allegedly stole a goat from a kraal and slaughtered it without the owner’s permission.
The goat, valued at N$2 500, was partially recovered. Police found the head, skin, intestines, and ribs, while other portions of the meat had already been sold at shebeens in Sinzongoro village.
The four suspects are scheduled to appear in the Kahenge Periodical Court on Friday, 08 August 2025.
Police investigations into the matter are ongoing.
