
The Usakos Magistrate’s Court has postponed the case of 18-year-old Downey !Naruseb to 14 October, allowing police more time to complete ongoing investigations.
!Naruseb, who remains in custody at the Usakos police station, is facing multiple charges of murder, and arson. The charges stem from a tragic incident in March this year, when six of his family members including his grandmother, twin sister, and young children were killed and set ablaze.
According to the allegations, !Naruseb subsequently attacking the victims and locked their their remains inside the house before setting it ablaze.
Magistrate George Ndaile presided over the matter, while State Prosecutor Steven Kamunima represented the prosecution.
