One thing you have to know about starting a business part 1

Just take the first step

How to take your first step
Take the first step

“Once, Ghanaian writer and teacher, Ernest Agyemang Yeboah said, “Take a step! face the challenge! When you seem to be sinking, call on God for he can provide good helpers. There are so many true helpers standing by along the journey of purposefulness. Just do your best and take good steps in full faith, and God will bring helpers. Look and see for sometimes God opens doors in a way we least expect. Sometimes God makes things go wrong for a good purpose. Know your heart and mind, take steps with well-balanced patience and impatience or else you shall miss the true helpers and opportunities. They that keep waiting, shall keep waiting, and they that shall move, shall keep moving. Take a step! “

Starting a new business without an adviser and a sponsor may seem arduous. Different questions and thoughts will hit your mind, while doubts and discouragements will make it worse for you not to think about starting a business.

They said that “fear can kill”. Thinking about Competitors, customers, and who will help you if you will fall one day, all these bring fear if you are not well equipped.

Here are few things you have to look at if you want to get started:

1. Learn to see opportunities

You could start your own business a long time, but you didn’t see all opportunities that you wasted. If you start to learn to see opportunities, you will begin to see opportunities in small things like a small amount of money that you will get, places, other people( young people), and many more.

With a small amount of money: Only money can bring money. If you are thinking about starting a business, whenever you get money, your thoughts are always on how to make it bring other money, at the end of the day you will look for a way to invest it.

Places: Every business need to be located somewhere customer can able to reach. When I had the idea of starting my own business I struggled with the place. I didn’t find the right place that can fit my business plan. But each and every time I use to see opportunities, which helps me to get the idea to start my online business because when you start to see opportunities, most of the resources available for you become useful.

Other people (especially young people): There are some businesses that you like to have that you are not good at. Investing in someone else can be a good idea, not all businesses can be run by the owner. For example, maybe you like entertainment, let me say you want a comedy business, why can’t you just invest in someone you think can do it for you. Investing in professional people may be expensive for you as a beginner but if you try with young once can be inexpensive for you.

Just the first step you will start to see opportunities
Start getting opportunities

2. You see the opportunity, now put it in work

Put things into work
Take action

Here is where the fear of failure is coming in, you will start to reason with different excuses. Believe me, excuses sound realistic.

Anyways, if the first step is made, the following can be the pattern. And you will start to see opportunities after opportunities but in one condition, if you will never stop learning.

3. Start with small

Even Rome wasn’t built one day. There is no need to rush, you are in control, take your time and make the right decisions. For every single decision you want to make, try to explore the internet to get ideas from different sources.

4. Never stop learning

Never stop learning
Never stop learning

Have time to learn, study your business, study yourself, this can help your business to be unique from competitors.

5. Stay humble

Look simplicity, own yourself, work for yourself, don’t forget you are just a boss for yourself.

Bottom line

Learn to see opportunities, make your first step, and never stop learning, you are just started, and accept mistakes.
