
Authorities in Windhoek are investigating an armed robbery that occurred at a pre-primary school in the Klein Kuppe area on Monday. The incident involved five suspects who allegedly stormed the school premises and threatened staff before fleeing with a substantial amount of money.
City Police confirmed that the group, armed with a pistol and knives, held the receptionist at gunpoint during the attack. The suspects then escaped in a blue Mazda Demio without registration plates, which law enforcement officers are currently tracking.
Although the exact figure is yet to be officially verified, an insider who local News Outlet said the stolen sum may exceed N$100 000. Police are urging members of the public with any information on the suspects’ whereabouts or the vehicle to come forward to assist in the investigation.
