
At the inaugural Namibia Public-Private Forum (NamPPF), President Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah called on Namibians to approach economic discussions without a “poverty mentality,” emphasizing the importance of leveraging the country’s wealth of resources in negotiations with potential foreign investors.
Addressing attendees, the President encouraged collaboration between government and the private sector to tackle critical issues, including youth unemployment and other socio-economic challenges. She stressed that the forum should be a platform for honest dialogue, saying she does not seek praise, but rather expects constructive criticism when necessary.
Nandi-Ndaitwah dedicated her participation to contributing ideas aimed at finding sustainable solutions for Namibia’s pressing national issues, highlighting the need for strategic thinking and confidence in the country’s assets.
