The Brave Warriors are in Moroni today for their second Group G match of the 2027 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers, with Namibia facing Comoros at the Stade de Moroni.

Namibia started their qualifying campaign with a 1–0 victory over Congo-Brazzaville in Gaborone on Thursday, with Bethuel Muzeu scoring the only goal of the match. The win gave the Brave Warriors three points and a clean sheet from their opening fixture.

They now face a Comoros side looking to recover from a 3–1 defeat to Cameroon in their opening Group G match. Namibia and Cameroon are currently level on three points, while Congo-Brazzaville and Comoros are yet to register a point.

The match is scheduled for 12:00 Namibian time today and will be broadcast live on SuperSport. CAF lists the fixture as a Group G Matchday 2 encounter in Moroni.

The Brave Warriors face an opponent they know well, with the recent meetings between the two nations producing mixed results.

Comoros have recorded victories over Namibia in recent encounters, while the two sides also played to a goalless draw in their latest meeting before Namibia prevailed on penalties.

For Namibia, the focus today is on producing another disciplined performance and adding a second consecutive victory to their qualifying campaign.

With three points already secured, the big question is whether the Brave Warriors can keep their perfect start and leave Moroni with another positive result.

A victory would give Namibia six points from their opening two matches and keep them firmly involved at the top of Group G.
