Final of the final: CAS Hears Senegal Appeal Over 2025 AFCON Final Today

The battle over the official outcome of the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations final reaches the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) today, as Senegal challenges the decision that awarded the continental title to Morocco.
However, the final decision is not expected to be announced today, according to an official report.
The CAS hearing will be handled by a three-member panel comprising Professor Gérald Simon of France as president, Professor Luigi Fumagalli of Italy and Professor Dr. Ulrich Haas of Germany.
The proceedings will be conducted in French.
