“If you are a white man, you will be much more in demand there” – Russian Man Exploits Women in Africa

A Russian man known online as “Yaytseslav” has caused widespread outrage in Ghana and Kenya after reports emerged that he used smart glasses to secretly record intimate encounters with women. According to sources, some of these videos were shared on social media without the women’s consent, prompting investigations by authorities in both countries. Ghana has appealed to Russian officials for assistance in bringing him back to face potential prosecution.
In a statement on his Telegram channel, Yaytseslav reportedly admitted that the videos are nearly a year old and wrote that “girls aren’t just in your city or country but also in other countries like Africa.” He added that “if you are a white man, you will be much more in demand there,” and suggested that women in Africa were easy to approach.
Reports indicate that he approached women in public places such as shopping malls and workplaces, invited them to hotels, and sometimes took advantage of them. Some of the women he targeted were married, and according to accounts, he would use tricks such as asking them for help or pretending to take them out socially before exploiting them.
While there is no official confirmation about his health, some people online have speculated that he might have HIV or other sexually transmitted infections and could potentially be spreading them through his reported encounters.
Authorities continue to investigate potential violations of privacy and consent, while civil groups have condemned the actions as exploitative and a violation of women’s dignity. Health and safety experts advise women and the public to be cautious when interacting with strangers, avoid unprotected sexual encounters, and seek medical testing if they believe they may have been exposed to risk.
