Nandi-Ndaitwah Challenges Namibian Businesses to Deliver Results from China Visit

President Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah has challenged Namibian business leaders accompanying her on the State Visit to China to return home with tangible investment opportunities that will boost industrialisation, create jobs and strengthen the country’s economy.
Speaking during a meeting with the business delegation in Beijing on Wednesday, Nandi-Ndaitwah stressed that the visit should go beyond diplomatic engagement and translate into meaningful partnerships that benefit Namibia’s private sector and citizens.
She said government remains committed to working with local businesses to unlock investment opportunities, promote value addition and expand the country’s presence in international markets.
The President encouraged the delegation to use the visit to establish lasting relationships with Chinese investors and companies, while positioning Namibia as an attractive destination for manufacturing, trade and industrial development.
According to Nandi-Ndaitwah, the growing cooperation between Namibia and China presents an opportunity to attract capital, expand local production and support economic growth that creates employment and benefits communities across the country.
The engagement with the business delegation forms part of the President’s State Visit programme, which aims to ensure that stronger bilateral relations with China translate into practical economic gains for Namibia.
