Rundu Town Council Calls on Accommodation Providers to Register Ahead of 2026 PE Games

The Rundu Town Council is calling on hotels, guesthouses, lodges and private homeowners to register their available accommodation as preparations intensify for the 2026 Public Enterprises (PE) Games, scheduled for 30 June to 5 July 2026.
The council says the registration drive is aimed at securing enough lodging for the expected large number of athletes, officials and supporters who will be arriving in the town during the week-long sporting event.
Accommodation providers within Rundu, as well as those located within a 50-kilometre radius outside the town, are being encouraged to come forward and submit their properties for consideration.
To qualify, all facilities must meet basic requirements, including safety and security, clean and well-maintained surroundings, access to potable water, reliable internet connectivity, parking space, hot water facilities and air-conditioning. Owners are also required to clearly indicate the number of guests their properties can accommodate.
Registration is currently open but will only run for three days, from 18 to 20 May 2026, between 08h30 and 16h30, at the Rundu Trade Fair Centre.
