Fans Excited as Peter Okoye Teases Possible March Show in Namibia

Nigerian music star Peter Okoye, famously known as Mr P or Peter PSquare, has sparked excitement among fans across Southern Africa with a recent social media post hinting at a possible tour in the region. The announcement comes as he prepares to release his highly anticipated new EP.
In a playful post, Peter wrote: “Seems like I might be touring South Africa, or should I say Southern Africa, in March… Just wait for it! My EP is almost ready, by the way! Gbedu Dey come.” While South Africa appears to be the main focus, his mention of “Southern Africa” has fans in neighbouring countries, including Namibia, hoping that he will perform closer to home.
This would mark a long-awaited return for the singer, who last performed in Namibia on September 27, 2014, alongside his twin brother Paul as part of P-Square. The show at the Hage Geingob Rugby Stadium in Windhoek drew roughly 8,000 fans.

Peter Okoye rose to fame as one-half of P-Square, one of Africa’s most successful music duos, known for electrifying performances and chart-topping hits. Since pursuing a solo career, he has continued to captivate audiences with his energetic style and engaging stage presence. His upcoming EP is highly anticipated, promising new hits for fans across the continent.
Fans in Namibia and the wider Southern African region are now eagerly watching for official tour dates and venue announcements. If included in his itinerary, a performance in Namibia would be a major entertainment highlight, reaffirming the country’s growing appeal as a stop for international African music stars.
As excitement builds, social media is buzzing with speculation and anticipation. Many are already asking: Will Mr P bring his new music to Namibia this March? Only time will tell.
