Nollywood actress Doris Ogala has disclosed that she attempted to take her own life following the collapse of her relationship with Pastor Chris Okafor, founder of Grace Nation Bible Ministry.
In an emotional video shared online, the actress alleged that the pastor abruptly ended their relationship despite previously promising to marry her. Ogala said the situation became unbearable after she learned that the pastor was engaged to another woman.
According to the actress, the emotional distress pushed her into a mental breakdown, during which she stabbed herself, resulting in severe blood loss. She stated that she was later rescued and survived the incident.
Ogala described the experience as a moment of deep despair and said she regrets the attempt. She accused the pastor of betrayal and emotional damage, claiming the relationship had lasted several years and left her psychologically affected.
Her revelation has generated widespread reactions across social media, with many Nigerians expressing concern for her well-being and calling for greater awareness around mental health, emotional abuse, and relationship trauma.
As of the time of reporting, Pastor Chris Okafor has not issued an official response to the allegations made by the actress.
