KK United FC have sent a strong message to their upcoming Premier League opponents after recording impressive victories over Cuca Tops FC and Rundu Chiefs FC during their preseason preparations last weekend.

The Nkurenkuru-based side will make their debut in the country’s top-flight football this weekend when they take on Millennium Julinho FC on 7 November 2026.

Head coach Wacko Wakudumo described his squad as a young but talented group, adding that most of the players are still working towards building a better understanding and developing their combinations on the pitch.

Speaking to The Updated World, Wakudumo admitted that his team still needs to improve its finishing, particularly when playing at a higher level.

“We missed a lot of chances, not just chances but big chances. In higher-level football, we need to avoid missing such opportunities,” he said.

KK United FC have brought in more than 14 new players ahead of their debut campaign, with approximately 80% of the new signings featuring during their preseason matches.

The club’s preparations suggest that they are worked towards building a balanced squad capable of competing across all areas of the pitch, from defence to attack.

With their preseason performances providing an early indication of their potential, KK United FC could emerge as an unpredictable side in the Namibia football scene, with the potential to produce surprise results throughout the 2026/27 campaign.
