Nigeria Stage Stunning Late Comeback to Hold Russia to 3-3 Draw

Nigeria staged a dramatic second-half comeback to secure a 3-3 draw against Russia after falling two goals behind in an entertaining international friendly.
The Super Eagles made an early breakthrough in the 10th minute, with Kelechi Iheanacho putting Nigeria ahead after being set up by Abdullahi Bewene.
Russia responded 20 minutes later as Lechi Sadulaev restored parity. The hosts then completed the turnaround deep into first-half stoppage time when Matvey Kislyak scored to send Russia into the break with a 2-1 lead.
Russia strengthened their position nine minutes after the restart. Aleksey Miranchuk found the net in the 54th minute to give the hosts a 3-1 advantage.
Nigeria refused to give up and began to put Russia under increasing pressure as the match entered its final stages.
Their efforts were rewarded in the 78th minute when Peter Edokpolor reduced the deficit to 3-2, giving Nigeria renewed hope of rescuing a result.
The comeback was completed deep into stoppage time. Akor Adams scored in the 94th minute after being set up by Umar Abubakar, bringing Nigeria level at 3-3.
Russia were unable to find a winning goal during the remaining minutes as Nigeria held on to claim a share of the spoils after a remarkable late fightback.
