NFA Suspends Finance Director Mino Cliff Gariseb
The Namibia Football Association (NFA) has suspended its Director of Finance and Procurement, Mino Cliff Gariseb, with immediate effect while investigations into alleged financial and administrative misconduct are underway.
The allegations against Gariseb include the alleged double payment of national team players, with claims that the additional funds were not recovered. He is also accused of increasing salaries without the necessary approval and failing to account for N$200,000.
Further allegations involve suspected fraud amounting to approximately N$300,000 linked to the Top 8 Cup.
Gariseb is also accused of insubordination towards the NFA General Secretary and failing to comply with instructions.
The suspension is pending an investigation into the allegations. The claims have not been established as proven misconduct.
