France Complete Stunning Comeback to Beat Belgium

France produced a remarkable late comeback on Monday night, overturning a one-goal deficit to defeat Belgium 4-1 in a UEFA Nations League Group A1 encounter at the Stade de France.
Belgium looked on course for an important away victory after Dodi Lukebakio opened the scoring in the 35th minute.
France struggled to find a response for much of the match, but the game changed dramatically in the final stages after coach Zinedine Zidane introduced attacking substitutes Desire Doue, Rayan Cherki and Michael Olise.

Doue brought France level in the 77th minute with a left-footed effort from the edge of the penalty area. Just four minutes later, Cherki completed the turnaround by converting a cross from Olise.
Olise then took centre stage, scoring twice in the closing stages to complete France’s 4-1 victory.
The result gave Zidane his first home win as France coach and strengthened France’s position at the top of Group A1.
France now have 10 points from four matches, while Italy moved to seven points after beating Türkiye 3-1. Belgium remain on six points, with Türkiye at the bottom of the group.
