Mbambero Links Up with Peter Shalulile and Petrus Shitembi During UNAM FC Trial in Windhoek

Promising midfielder Anton Mbambero has arrived in Windhoek to undergo a trial period with UNAM FC, where he had the opportunity to link up with some of Namibia’s top football legends, including Peter Shalulile and Petrus Shitembi.
Mbambero’s visit to the capital is a key step in his development journey, as he looks to impress the UNAM FC technical team and earn a potential contract. He was accompanied by KK United and school team coach Nelson Iiyambo, who is overseeing his progress during the trial period.
The young midfielder, who play for Monaco FC, enjoyed an impressive season with the Kavango West Second Division side, playing a crucial role in their strong performances. He helped the team progress through the preliminary rounds of the Kavango West Second Division NFA Cup and currently sits with them in the top five of the standings.
The 21 years old midfielder, has already made a notable impact, recording six goals and leading his team’s assist charts this season, underlining his creativity and attacking contribution from midfield.
His trial in Windhoek is seen as an important opportunity to showcase his talent on a bigger stage alongside established professionals.
