Nettie Cloete Steps Into NFA Executive Council Role After Kandundu Resignation

The Namibia Football Association (NFA) has confirmed a new addition to its Executive Council following a recent vacancy, with Mrs. Nettie Christina Cloete stepping into the role.
Cloete, a well-known figure in Namibian football administration, brings extensive experience from regional structures. She previously served as Chairperson of the ||Kharas Regional Football Association and currently holds the position of Chairperson of the ||Kharas Third Division league.
Her appointment comes after the resignation of Councillor Laurens Tommy Kandundu, in line with a directive from the Namibia Sports Commission. The NFA subsequently filled the vacancy by selecting Cloete, who was identified as the next eligible candidate from the 2023 election list.
Her inclusion in the Executive Council is expected to strengthen representation and continuity within the country’s football governance structures.
