Official:Stoffel Witbeen Completes Move to Zimbabwean Side Scottland FC
Namibian midfielder Stoffel Witbeen has officially completed his transfer to Zimbabwean Premier League side Scottland FC from Okahandja United FC, signing a two-year contract.
The 24-year-old successfully impressed the club’s technical team during a trial period, earning himself a permanent deal. Reports indicate that the transfer fee is valued at approximately US$60,000.
Witbeen now joins fellow Namibian Moses Shidolo at Scottland FC, further strengthening the growing Namibian presence at the Zimbabwean outfit.
His football journey began to gain national recognition in 2020 when he represented the Omaheke Region at the Under-20 Namibian Newspaper Cup. He later joined Desert Rollers in the Omaheke Second Division before securing a move to Okahandja United in 2022.
Ahead of the 2024/25 season, Witbeen moved to Botswana, where he featured for Matebele FC, before returning to Namibia for a second spell with Okahandja United. His impressive performances have now earned him an opportunity to continue his career in Zimbabwe with Scottland FC.
