Tigers Appoint Gareth Eichab as Head Coach on Two-Year Deal
Tigers Football Club has appointed Gareth Fortune Eichab as its new head coach on a two-year contract, with the appointment taking immediate effect.
Eichab joins Tigers after recently parting ways with Khomas Nampol FC before the conclusion of the previous season, bringing extensive experience and a strong record of achieving competitive league finishes.
He previously guided Tura Magic to a third-place finish in the 2018/2019 season before making his mark at Khomas Nampol. Eichab helped the club secure promotion to the Namibia Premier Football League (NPFL) and subsequently guided them to consecutive third-place finishes in the 2023/2024 and 2024/2025 seasons.
His appointment adds experience to the Tigers technical team as the club seeks to strengthen its squad and compete for honours in the new campaign.
Tigers said Eichab’s track record of ambition and podium finishes made him a suitable appointment for the club’s plans.
The club has also called on its supporters to give the new coach and the team their full backing throughout the season.
Eichab will now begin his two-year tenure as Tigers head coach with immediate effect.
