Desert Queens FC and Hope FC Earn Women’s Super League Promotion
Desert Queens FC of the Erongo Region and Hope FC of the Oshana Region have secured promotion to the Women’s Super League after finishing at the top of their respective promotion playoff groups.
Desert Queens FC dominated Group 1, collecting 9 points from three matches after winning all three of their games to secure the group’s sole promotion spot.
In Group 2, Hope FC finished top with 10 points to earn promotion to the elite women’s league. Green Side Queens FC narrowly missed out after finishing second with 9 points, while Kavango West side Kasivi Pride FA ended the playoffs in third place with 6 points.
The result marks another disappointment for Green Side Queens FC and Kasivi Pride FA, who have now failed to secure promotion to the Women’s Super League for the second consecutive year.
Desert Queens FC and Hope FC will now join the Women’s Super League for the upcoming season after successfully navigating the promotion playoffs.
