Angola have progressed to the next round of the 2028 Women’s Olympic Football Tournament qualifiers after defeating Namibia 2–0 in the second leg in Luanda.

The result handed Angola a 2–0 aggregate victory, following a goalless draw in the first leg on 9 October. Both matches were played in the Angolan capital.

Namibia needed a positive result in the return fixture to keep their Olympic qualification hopes alive, but Angola secured the victory required to advance in the competition.

The defeat ends Namibia’s campaign at this stage of the qualifiers, while Angola move one step closer to securing a place at the 2028 Olympic Games.
