Erongo Women’s Football League Invites New Clubs After Desert Queens FC’ Promotion
The Erongo Women’s Football League has opened applications for only one available affiliation spot for a new club ahead of the upcoming season.
The invitation comes after Desert Queens FC secured promotion to the Women’s Super League by winning the promotion playoffs, leaving just one opening in the Erongo Women’s Football League.
In a letter addressed to potential member clubs, the league’s Executive Committee invited interested teams to formally submit their letters of intent to affiliate with the regional women’s football competition.
The league said the initiative is part of its efforts to establish an inclusive and competitive women’s football platform that promotes diversity, fairness and the growth of the game across the Erongo Region.
Interested clubs have been asked to demonstrate their commitment to women’s football and their readiness to contribute to the development of the sport.
With only one spot available, clubs interested in joining have been urged to submit their applications within the stipulated period for consideration for the upcoming season.
