Regina Daniels Needs Rehabilitation, Says Husband Senator Ned Nwoko Who Accused the Actress of Using Too Much Drugs

A serious dispute has erupted in the household of Nollywood actress Regina Daniels and her husband, billionaire politician Ned Nwoko, after Regina publicly accused him of ordering the arrest of her brother and sister.

The actress took to social media on Monday, stating that police officers detained her siblings and threatened to arrest her younger sister as well. Regina says her husband is using security forces to pressure her to return to what he calls “rehabilitation”.

“My big brother and big sister have been arrested and my youngest sister is being targeted until I return and according to him, return to rehab.”

Regina demanded that her family be released and directly called out Nwoko:

“Leave my family alone Ned!”

Earlier Conflict

The development follows recent conflict between the couple, after Regina accused her husband of mistreatment. In response, Nwoko publicly claimed Regina was abusing drugs and needed rehabilitation. Regina has denied the accusations, insisting she is not a drug user.

It also emerged recently that Regina has moved out of her marital home and reportedly acquired her own house.

In a follow-up post, Regina stated that her brother was beaten during the arrest:

“Imagine the Nigerian police beating my brother like a criminal. What exactly was the violent arrest for?”

She accused her husband of abusing power:

“You have power and money. But thinking I don’t have my own power is a big mistake.”

Regina also issued a strong warning, saying she has information she may reveal if the situation continues:

“Don’t push me to bring everything to the public. I once respected you, but I will not allow my family to suffer.”

She expressed concern for her children:

“I only want my sons to grow with pride in their father’s name.”

As at the time of filing this report, Ned Nwoko has not released an official response to her latest claims.
