An 18-year-old Woman Arrested After Cannabis Found Hidden in Fatcake at Aroab Police Station

An 18-year-old woman was arrested on Wednesday after police at Aroab Police Station discovered cannabis concealed inside a fatcake she delivered for an inmate.

According to the police incident report, the woman arrived at the station with food intended for a detainee. Officers conducted a routine inspection before handing over the items and found a suspicious substance hidden inside the fatcake. The substance was later confirmed to be cannabis.

The young woman was immediately taken into custody and now faces charges related to the possession and attempted smuggling of illegal drugs into a police holding facility.
