Armed Suspects Rob Man and Steal Toyota Fortuner at Cimbebasia Dumping Site in Windhoek

Police in Windhoek are investigating an armed robbery and vehicle theft after four suspects held up a 41-year-old man at the Cimbebasia dumping site on Wednesday.

According to the police report, the suspects confronted the victim, robbed him of his cellphone, and forced him to reveal his e-wallet balance. The attackers allegedly withdrew N$4,000 before fleeing.

The group then drove off with the victim’s Toyota Fortuner, valued at approximately N$800,000. The vehicle has not yet been recovered.

No arrests have been made, and police are appealing to the public for information that may assist in tracking down the suspects. Investigations continue.
