Gang Clash Turns Deadly in Mariental, 21-Year-Old Stabbed to Death

A violent confrontation linked to suspected gang activity has left a young man dead in Mariental, with police now probing a murder case.
According to Nampol, the victim, identified as 21-year-old Richard John //Kharab, sustained multiple stab wounds during an altercation on Wednesday evening, 24 December 2025.
The incident happened between 20h00 and 20h30 at Takarania location.Reports indicate that after being attacked with an unknown object, the injured man fled to a nearby house in an attempt to seek help, but later died from his injuries.
His family has since been notified of his death.
Police have arrested three Namibian men aged 23, 26 and 33 in connection with the incident. They remain in custody while investigations into the circumstances surrounding the fatal gang fight continue.
