Police Probe N$67 000 Stock Theft in Karibib

The Namibian Police in Karibib have launched an investigation into a suspected case of stock theft after three cattle were allegedly slaughtered on a farm in the Karibib district.
According to police, the incident occurred on Friday, 23 January 2026, at around 08:00. The cattle, estimated to be worth N$67 000, were reportedly killed at a grazing area without the owner’s permission.

A police report indicates that the suspects are believed to have transported the meat from the scene using an unidentified pick-up vehicle. During a follow-up at the farm, officers discovered cattle heads, hooves and intestines left behind.
No arrests have been made so far, and the suspects remain unknown. Police investigations into the matter are ongoing.
