Public Urged to Help Trace Man After Student’s Laptop Stolen at Oshana Library

Police and library officials are appealing to members of the public to help identify and locate a man allegedly involved in the theft of a student’s laptop at the Oshana Library in Oshakati.
The incident reportedly occurred on Friday, 6 February 2026, and was captured on the library’s CCTV cameras. Authorities say the suspect is believed to have taken the laptop from a student who was using the facility at the time.
Members of the public, particularly those in the Oshana Region and surrounding areas, are urged to assist by providing any information that could lead to the identification or whereabouts of the man seen in the footage.
