Leena Alweendo Brace Fires Mighty Gunners into Women’s NFA Cup Final

Mighty Gunners Ladies FC booked their place in the Women’s NFA Cup final after cruising to a convincing 4-0 victory over Windhoek City SC in the semi-final.

Mighty Gunners took control of the match early and headed into the halftime break with a comfortable 3-0 lead before adding a fourth goal in the second half to complete the dominant win.

Leena Alweendo starred for the visitors with a brace, while Fiola Vliete and Miriam Michael each contributed a goal.

The victory sets up an all-police final, with Mighty Gunners Ladies FC set to face Khomas Nampol Ladies FC, who earlier defeated Julinho Athletics Ladies 2-0 in the day’s first semi-final.
