African Stars Part Ways with Lesotho Defender Thabang Malane

Namibian Premiership champions African Stars have confirmed the departure of Lesotho international Thabang Malane following the conclusion of his two-season stay at the Windhoek-based club.
The experienced defender leaves after playing a key role during his time with African Stars, where he earned praise for his commitment, discipline, and professionalism on and off the field.
In a farewell message, the club expressed its appreciation for Malane’s contribution to the team.
“Your dedication, hard work, and professionalism have left a lasting mark both on and off the pitch. Thank you for proudly wearing the African Stars badge and contributing to our journey,” the club said.
The club also wished the Lesotho international success in the next phase of his career, adding: “Everyone at African Stars wishes you continued success and happiness in the next chapter of your career. Once a Star, always a Star.”
