Four Injured as Vehicle Overturns Near Arandis

Emergency services responded to a rollover crash on the B2 road between Arandis and Usakos on Friday evening, leaving four people injured.
The accident occurred about 45 kilometres outside Arandis towards Usakos. All four occupants of the vehicle were treated at the scene before being taken to hospital with injuries of varying severity.
Sean Naude said the incident was initially reported by Marshall Simon, who reached the scene shortly after the vehicle overturned. An ambulance was then dispatched to provide medical assistance.
While emergency responders were on their way, a Code Red Private Ambulance travelling to Windhoek to transfer a patient came across the crash site. The crew immediately stopped to assist the injured and remained at the scene together with the person who reported the accident until the ambulance from Usakos arrived.
The circumstances that led to the rollover have not yet been established, and the cause of the crash remains under investigation.
