Tryagain Ndevelo Secures Historic Commonwealth Games Silver Medal for Namibia

Namibian boxer Tryagain Ndevelo has etched his name into the country’s sporting history after delivering a remarkable performance to claim a silver medal in the men’s 60kg category at the 2026 Commonwealth Games.

Ndevelo battled strongly in the final against India’s Sachin, but narrowly missed out on gold after losing 3–2 on points in a tightly contested encounter.

The achievement marks Namibia’s second medal at the Glasgow Games and highlights Ndevelo’s outstanding campaign on the international stage.
