
Police in Windhoek have launched an investigation following the discovery of a 32-year-old man’s body early Sunday morning in the Havana residential area.
The deceased, identified as Matheus Stefanis, was found lying in a pool of blood on Karasburg Street at around 06:30, after a passerby stumbled upon the scene and alerted the authorities.
According to police spokespersons, Stefanis had sustained several stab wounds, including deep cuts to his left arm, upper lip, and left rib area. He was declared dead at the scene.
The motive behind the fatal attack is still unclear, and no suspects have been arrested. Police investigations are continuing.
