Angolan Cattle Herder Killed in Suspected Hit-and-Run Incident

Police have launched an investigation following the discovery of a man’s body along the Iitananga–Omakange road in the Amaupa area, in what is believed to be a fatal hit-and-run accident.
The deceased has been identified as Zee Miranda, an Angolan national who was reportedly working as a cattle herder at the time of the incident. Authorities suspect that he was struck by an unidentified vehicle whose driver failed to stop after the collision.
According to preliminary police reports, the victim sustained fatal injuries at the scene, and no witnesses have yet come forward to provide details about the vehicle involved.
Law enforcement officials have since notified the next of kin, while efforts to trace the driver responsible are ongoing. Police are urging anyone with information that could assist the investigation to come forward.
