Man Accused of Fatally Shooting David Vilho Mbinda at Nightbar Granted Bail

A 30-year-old man accused of killing a popular Katutura bouncer has been granted bail by the Katutura Magistrate’s Court.

Asser Pendapala Nendongo faces a murder charge in connection with the death of David Vilho Mbinda, widely known as “Lion,” who was working as a bouncer at Tokolosh Lounge.

The incident occurred on 20 February, when a dispute allegedly broke out at the entrance of the club. During the altercation, Mbinda was shot in the face and succumbed to his injuries the following day.

The court set Nendongo’s bail at N$5,000, and he is expected to return on 21 May. Police continue to review CCTV footage and gather evidence related to the fatal shooting.
