Manchester City and Arsenal Lineups for Community Shield Clash
Manchester City and Arsenal have confirmed their starting line-ups for the 2026 Community Shield, with the two sides meeting at the Principality Stadium in Cardiff on Sunday.
Arsenal enter the match as reigning Premier League champions, while Manchester City are the FA Cup holders. The match also marks the first competitive game of the new season and Enzo Maresca’s first competitive match as Manchester City manager following Pep Guardiola’s departure.
City will start Gianluigi Donnarumma in goal, with Abdukodir Khusanov, Rúben Dias and Joško Gvardiol in defence. Nico O’Reilly, Mateo Kovačić and Elliot Anderson will feature in midfield, while Antoine Semenyo, Phil Foden and Jérémy Doku will support Erling Haaland in attack.

Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta has also selected a strong side. David Raya starts in goal, protected by Ben White, Cristhian Mosquera, Gabriel Magalhães and Riccardo Calafiori.
Bruno Guimarães and Myles Lewis-Skelly will operate in midfield alongside captain Martin Ødegaard, while Noni Madueke and Christos Tzolis support Kai Havertz up front.
