Man Utd Survive Leeds Test to Lift BoyleSports Cup

Manchester United edged Leeds United on penalties after the two sides finished 1-1 in an entertaining pre-season friendly at Croke Park in Dublin on Wednesday.
United took the lead in the 16th minute through Joshua Zirkzee, who continued his promising pre-season form by finding the back of the net early in the contest.
Leeds responded before the break, with Brenden Aaronson restoring parity in the 29th minute to make it 1-1. Neither side could find a winning goal during the remainder of normal time.

The match subsequently went to a penalty shootout, where Manchester United held their nerve to secure a 5-4 victory and lift the Boyle Sports Cup. Noussair Mazraoui converted the decisive spot-kick for United.
